Big L "M.V.P." (Throwback Thursday)

Big L was one of the more talent rappers from New York, even though he never really found mainstream success. The emcee from Harlem came up with other notable rappers such as Ma$e and Cam'ron, as they were collective known as "Children of the Corn". He was also affiliated with the D.I.T.C. (Diggin' In The Crates) Crew later in his career. L seemed to be on the cusp of breaking through as he was believed to be in negotiation with Jay-Z and Dame Dash (whom he frequently worked with in their earlier years in the game) to join Roc A Fella Records. Sadly, Big L was shot and killed on February 15, 1999, leaving many fans asking why and what if, as he was definitely one of the most talented emcees of his era. Big L Rest in Peace!!!
