NFL Picks Super Bowl XLIX

Well my friends, Super Bowl XLIX is among us and that means that the 2014-15 NFL season has reached its completion. Before we pack up until next season, we have the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots competing to determine who will take home the Lombardi trophy this year. Its been a dramatic and wildly entertaining season complete with everything from domestic violence, child abuse, scathing criticism of commissioner Roger Goodell, talk of the demise of Peyton Manning, Marshawn Lynch one liners, the greatness of JJ Watt, Dallas' return to prominence, and "Deflategate". Meanwhile this year I finished the regular season at 166-73-1 and I am currently 8-2 during the playoffs. So with all that out of the way, my winner of Super Bowl will be...............

NFL Playoffs Conference Champioship Picks

After going 3-1 in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs, my playoff records stands at 6-2. Peyton Manning and a torn right quad stood in the way of a perfect week and I survived a scare in Lambeau (thank you karma) but all in all this was a pretty good weekend of football. The Patriots recovered from the 14 point deficits to defeat Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens, while the Seattle Seahawks are starting to look like the dominant team we saw last year, led by the outstanding play of Kam Chancellor. So who will be my Super Bowl picks for this year? Find out after the break.

NFL Picks Divisional Round

Wildcard weekend is over and I pulled out a 3-1 record, now it's on to the Divisional Round, where we will experience some intriguing matchups. Will Andrew Luck leads his Colts to victory over his predecessor Peyton Manning? Can Dallas conquer Aaron Rodgers and the Lambeau mystique? Will Joe Flacco and the Ravens continue to make life at home miserable for Brady and the Pats? Does Carolina's resurgent defense and a seemingly healthy Cam Newton have a shot at dethroning the reigning champs in Seattle? All the answers you need to those questions can be found after the break!

MoKenStef "He's Mine" (Throwback Thursday)

NFL Playoffs Wildcard Round Picks

Well ladies and gentlemen, Week 17 is in the books and the 2014-15 NFL regular season is officially done. Some of you fans will have the pleasure of continuing to root for your favorite teams, some of us where not that lucky for various reasons. I finished the season with a strong outing, going 11-5 while bringing my season total to 166-73-1. The playoff matchups have been set and my picks are in, check them out after the break.

My Favorite 20 Albums and Songs of 2014

2014 is officially in the books and there are a ton of "best of 2014" list floating around everywhere.
Due to the fact that these types of list are purely subjective and can (and will be) easily debated by everyone, rarely do these list agree on the albums or songs included, let alone the order. So this year instead of making a definitive "best of" list to end the year (maybe next year), I decided to put my favorite albums and songs of the 2014 calendar year into a top 20 list. Even doing this I feel like I slighted and left out a lot of music that I enjoyed during the year, so with that said I give my top 20 songs and albums of 2014 after the break. Peace and blessings to all in 2015.
