In the midst of a Wu-Tang dominated industry, where the crew from Shaolin could do no wrong, Raekwon The Chef forever changed "Mafioso" rap when he dropped one of the greatest hip hop albums ever in 1995, Only Built For Cuban Linx..., which guest starred his partner in Ghostface Killah.
Cuban Linx or "The Purple Tape" as it is often referred to (due to the cassettes purple coloring) featured bangers from back to front, including tracks such as "Knowledge God", "Glaciers of Ice", "Rainy Dayz" and "Wu-Gambinos". Despite the quality of work on the album, the one record that stood out to radio was "Ice Cream" and with an infectious hook from Method Man and dope verses from Rae as well Cappadonna and Ghost, it wasn't hard to understand why.

Another classic track off the Purple Tape...
