A Moment Of Greatness That Provides A Lifetime Full of Memories (Flashback Fridays)

The best moments in sports don't always come from the professionals or collegiate armatures, sometimes the memories come in the most unexpected packages. After watching ESPN's E60 #Longshot clip on Owen Groesser, I was reminded about Jason McElwain, who was diagnosed with autism at 2 years old, but got the chance to live out his dreams as a basketball player.

These moments occur more often than we may recognize as they don't all receive the same sort of publicity because they aren't always sports related but that doesn't lessen the accomplishments of these individuals in the least. Stay strong, keep fighting!
